Business Assistance

A variety of organizations and networks are available to assist businesses throughout the state.  The New Mexico Economic Development Department (NMEDD) provides help for businesses with a number of tax incentives described on the Department’s web site. Click here to read more about Incentives.

NMEDD also administers one of the country’s most lucrative workforce development programs, the Job Training Incentive Program.

Financial assistance programs, including loans, loan guarantees and equity, are available from a number of sources listed on NMEDD’s site, and Finance New Mexico.

Organizations other than NMEDD that provide business development assistance include WESST and ACCION.

New Mexico’s Small Business Development Centers have locations in 20 communities, providing technical assistance in developing a business plan and locating capital.
